WPN 22-4: Quality Work Plan Revision Update

Supersedes: Weatherization Program Notice (WPN) 15-4 and Weatherization Memorandums 070, 050, 036, and 034.

The Quality Work Plan includes the requirements provided in this guidance that support and verify quality work in the Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program. It defines what constitutes a quality installation of weatherization measures, outlines how those measures are inspected and validated, and prescribes acceptable training and credentialing of workers.

Effective: January 22, 2020- DOE has issued updated monitoring policy and procedures for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). This Weatherization Program Notice (WPN) describes the revisions to current WAP monitoring procedures and provides additional information and resources for Grantees to strengthen and enhance their weatherization monitoring plans. The provisions of this WPN apply to all WAP Grantees applying for financial assistance under the Department of Energy’s (DOE) WAP. This Notice supersedes WPN 16-4.
