Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
•Demonstrates a deep understanding of building science principles and their practical applications to stakeholders, programs, staff, and technical experts.
•Maintains a primary concern with occupant health and safety and customer satisfaction in all work.
•Develops and manages a cohesive, robust, and flexible team by embodying and demonstrating the BPI management traits and culture to staff.
•Demonstrated understanding of building science standards and certifications.
•Manage department budget ensuring all fiscal objectives are met and help plan each subsequent annual budget for the department.
•Ensure all facets of the operations for the department meet ANAB and ANSI Accreditation requirements and BPI quality objectives.
•Investigate and cultivate new revenue sources within the mission of BPI.
•Continually improve processes to gain efficiency, increase quality, lower costs, while reducing turnaround times for delivery of new products and services.
•Meet all yearly initiatives set forth by BPI Board.
•Help identify gaps in existing standards and guidelines and propose solutions to BPI Board and leadership.
•Serve as primary technical spokesperson for BPI related to standards and certification development and maintenance activities.
•Oversee staff and Standards Technical Committees, Working Groups, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure groups remain engaged, collegial, and productive while meeting developmental deadlines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Support the work of the SNAP E&T National Partnership project in the following areas: (1) Developing and implementing a clear and effective project plan to achieve project deliverables; (2) Providing and coordinating training and technical assistance to Community Action Agencies to support their becoming SNAP E&T third party providers or expanding their services; (3) Developing and facilitating learning cohorts for Community Action Agencies to support development of new SNAP E&T partnerships with expert partner T/TA providers and peer Community Action Agency experts; (3) Developing, curating, and disseminating effective information and resources to the Community Action network regarding SNAP E&T third-party services and partnership opportunities.
• Provide leadership in resource development and outreach to the Community Action network related to the intersection of effective food/nutrition programs and employment/training programs.
• Support management activities, including participating in budget development, grant reporting, and grant writing.
• Respond to CAA, State Association, and State CSBG Lead Agency requests regarding the implementation of new SNAP E&T partnerships.
• Promote, communicate and strategically coordinate SNAP E&T outreach information/resources for CAAs via email, social media, E-News, and other channels.
• Participate in project-related planning and training activities for the Partnership’s Annual Convention and Management and Leadership Training Conference.
• Manage quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis regarding project effectiveness.
• Support research and content development related to new publications and resources.
• Support and collaborate with Partnership colleagues on potential program development and policy advocacy for CAAs relevant to SNAP E&T.
• Communicate and participate in meetings with the lead grantee, project partners and other Community Action network partners on project-related activities.

Position Overview:
Working under the guidance of the Energy Program Director, manage the daily operations of all the Energy Efficiency Programs insuring that programs meet all contractual obligations. Perform Quality Control site visits, heating system inspections and audits as needed, respond to emergency needs of clients, and complete related program administrative duties. Supervise energy efficiency staff.
Position Responsibilities:
- Responsible for compliance with all Energy Efficiency contracts, program production goals, and program guidelines and regulations.
- Oversee selection of clients for eligibility in all Weatherization, Heating Emergency Assistance Retrofit Task Weatherization Assistance Program, Appliance Management Program, utility sponsored programs.
- Evaluate all weatherization audits and heating system proposals, and approve measures and costs to be completed.
- Perform Quality Control inspections, heating system inspections, and audits as needed. Ensure appropriate inspection reports are completed in accordance with program requirements.
- Approve vendor invoices for payment and assure check requests are prepared for Energy Program Director approval.
- Monitor and improve contractor performance, including conducting follow-up as required to ensure that all jobs are completed according to contractual standards.
- Oversee and manage all program record keeping and data entry to ensure compliance with funding source and QCAP contracts and guidelines.
- Supervise Energy Efficiency Specialists.
- Responding to emergency situations to meet clients’ needs.
The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) seeks an experienced, mission-driven professional to serve as a Deputy Administrator in the Office of Low-Income Energy Conservation Unit, Weatherization and Lead Assistance Programs to assist in administering over $200 million grant dollars allocated to non-profit organizations, units of governments and community action agencies for the provision of Weatherization Services and Lead Remediation and Abatement Programs to residents of the State of NJ. Reporting to the Unit Administrator, the Deputy Administrator will: Implement policies and procedures in adherence with the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Housing Urban Development (HUD) and NJ Department of Community Affairs regulations in ensuring an effective and efficient Weatherization Assistance and Lead Remediation and Abatement Programs; Assist in the management and coordination of direct operations of the Office of Lead Prevention and Office of Low-Income Energy Conservation in accordance with budget language in the State Annual Budget; Directly assist the Administrator with various administrative and analytical duties related to the operation and monitoring of Weatherization and Lead Assistance Programs; Prepare documentation for compliance with internal and external audit/monitoring requirements in accordance with the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and as per State regulations; Assist in managing program staff.

Position Duties
This position performs under a higher degree of independence. This position requires learning and maintaining knowledge of current best practices and trends in energy efficiency. This position's duties involve coordinating with the Sr. Energy Program Manager on planning and executing procedures to successfully deliver energy programs. Procedures include the qualification and assignment of applicants, review of provided services, setting production goals, developing and monitoring budgets, developing and providing guidance to partnering organizations, evaluating performance metrics, training for staff and partners, preparing agreements and contracts, analyzing program data and preparing reports. Satisfactory execution of the assigned tasks includes meeting program deadlines and targets, and keeping expenditures within budget. This includes establishing and evaluating program goals, acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of network partners, team members and third-party vendors to achieve program goals and maintain performance standards, and continuously monitoring program performance.

Position Overview:
The primary emphasis of the Weatherization Assistance Program Manager at ICAST will be to manage current and upcoming Weatherization Assistance Programs with State and existing WAP service providers that ICAST is contracted to serve, nationally. In addition, the WAP Manager will be expected to stay up to speed with updates and innovations in the WAP space to provide appropriate advice to ICAST and its MFAH clients on optimal solutions and process improvements.
