Online WAP Grantee Programmatic Training
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) launched a new online training series tailored to Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Grantees, based on input from WAP subject matter experts. The trainings combine DOE guidance with on-the-ground experience from Grantees and stakeholders, which is augmented by a robust repository of examples, job aids, and resources for all Grantee staff. The online trainings offer both new and experienced staff a self-paced structure with interactive practice scenarios and certificates of completion and Continuing Education Units toward Building Performance Institute (BPI) Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector certifications.

These trainings were developed in partnership for DOE by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Interstate Renewable Energy Council, and National Association for State Community Services Programs.
