IIJA Coaching Series

The NASCSP IIJA Coaching Series provides Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Grantees with implementation-focused training, peer learning opportunities, and practical guidance to support successful administration of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funding.

This webpage features two distinct coaching tracks designed to support different areas of WAP administration and operations:

IIJA Implementation Coaching Track

This track focuses on operational implementation strategies, peer-to-peer learning, and emerging issues related to IIJA funding administration. Sessions highlight state experiences, implementation challenges, best practices, and practical approaches for navigating topics such as state plan modifications, production goals, reporting, reallocations, and evolving DOE guidance. This track is especially valuable for program managers, operations staff, and leadership teams seeking real-world implementation insight and collaborative problem-solving opportunities across the WAP network.

Title: Weatherization New State Manager Training

Description: This series of webinars are tailored specifically for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) new state managers. This training program is essential in getting off on the right foot by combining high level overview with more detailed processes unique to the weatherization program. Training will provide valuable insights into program management, workforce development, and compliance. Fiscal Coaching Series

The Fiscal Coaching Series is a six-part training series developed in partnership with CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) to strengthen fiscal management, compliance, and oversight within WAP agencies. Sessions provide practical guidance on topics including 2 CFR 200, internal controls, risk assessments, budget management, cost allowability, monitoring, and audit readiness. This track is designed for fiscal staff, program managers, monitors, grants administrators, and other personnel responsible for financial oversight and compliance within WAP programs.
