The year 2016 marks the 40^th Anniversary of the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). Additionally, October is Energy Action Month and October 30^th is National Weatherization Day. Over the course of this month, you have likely heard numbers and statistics about the impact of WAP. While dollars saved, units weatherized, return on investment, leveraged funds, and other measures are certainly important, NASCSP also wants to highlight the human impact of the WAP. What better way to do that than let recipients of WAP services describe the impact Weatherization had on them in their own words. Below you will get a snapshot of how WAP is helping families with low-incomes across the country.
