-Jovita Tolbert, NASC Development Director- Below are several key dates to be aware of related to the work of the ROMA Next Generation Center of Excellence (COE).
Monday, June 3rd: NASCSP will disseminate an updated Community Action Theory of Change (TOC) and a white paper, which will provide the foundation for Network discussion on how we can enhance our measurement of the Community Services Block Grant’s (CSBG) impact and Community Action’s impact.
Tuesday, June 25th & Friday, June 28th: Save these dates for listening sessions via webinar.
Monday, July 15th: Prepare to participate in an online survey.
Wednesday, July 31st: NASCSP will present preliminary recommendations for a Community Action TOC and enhanced measurement of CSBG and Community Action’s impact to the federal Office of Community Services (OCS).
Please note that while preliminary recommendations will be sent to OCS in July, the TOC and any CSBG IS updates discussed in the white paper will not be finalized until March 2014.
Additionally, any updates to the CSBG IS, which includes the National Performance Indicators of ROMA, will be phased in. Changes to the data collection process for States and local agencies will also be phased in based on State and local agency reporting cycles and capacity. Therefore, the earliest NASCSP expects to see any result from updated reporting is March 2016.
