Pinterest has been sweeping through the world wide web for the past few months now, and NASCSP is proud to be “pinning” about poverty and energy issues!
Pinterest according to their website “lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes. Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.”
NASCSP has created several “boards” act as place to find information and graphics about poverty-related issues based on the following categories: Social Good through Social Media, Expressions, Infographics, Poverty Research, and Advocacy.
Pinterest is a visual and engaging way to bring about poverty awareness. It is yet another way for NASCSP to share its message with interested parties, in an innovative and attention-grabbing way!
