2027 Winter Training Conference Call for Proposals

NASCSP 2027 Winter Training Conference Call for Proposals

February 17 – 19 | Washington, DC

Are you passionate about strengthening energy and economic security for low-income individuals and families? Do you have practical strategies, proven practices, innovative ideas, or lived experience that can help our network turn shared purpose into meaningful impact?

Guided by the theme “United for Impact: Purpose in Practice,” the NASCSP 2027 Winter Training Conference will bring our network together to strengthen connections, build capacity, and translate shared commitment into effective action. We’re seeking presenters who can offer actionable insights, share valuable resources, elevate lived experience, and lead engaging discussions that help attendees strengthen programs and improve outcomes for low-income individuals and families.

We welcome proposals focused on the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and cross-cutting topics relevant to both programs. State and local agency staff, subject matter experts, nonprofit leaders, policy advocates, training centers, and individuals with lived experience are encouraged to submit proposals that demonstrate how collaboration and practical approaches can help our network make the most of available resources.

Strong proposals will identify clear learning outcomes and explain how attendees can put the session’s tools, practices, or perspectives into action. Sessions should help participants strengthen program delivery, build partnerships, improve organizational capacity, or assess and demonstrate results. Proposals featuring lived experience should explain how those perspectives can inform program design, delivery, or decision-making.
