Vendor Participation

NASCSP welcomes the opportunity to include diverse perspectives and expertise in our conference programming. However, as a membership organization representing and supporting state and local agencies, NASCSP must remain neutral and cannot give the appearance of endorsing or promoting any commercial products, services, or vendors.

To maintain this standard, all vendor-led or vendor-affiliated session proposals will be reviewed with the following considerations:

Educational Focus:
Sessions must be primarily educational in nature and aligned with the conference theme and learning objectives. Presentations may not promote or market specific products, tools, or services.

Content Neutrality:
Company names, logos, or product branding may not be featured in slides or handouts beyond a simple identification of the presenter’s affiliation. References to specific products or tools should be limited and presented within the context of broader best practices or lessons learned.

Balanced Representation:
Vendor-led sessions are encouraged to include at least one co-presenter from a state office, community action agency, or partner organization who can speak to the practical application of the topic from a non-commercial perspective.

Disclosure:
Presenters must disclose any financial or professional affiliations related to the topic at the time of submission and during the presentation.

NASCSP reserves the right to modify, combine, or decline sessions that do not meet these standards or that may create the appearance of endorsement.
