The James Gardner Weatherization Award

The NASCSP Board presents this award annually to recognize leadership achievement at the national, State or local level that makes a positive impact on the Weatherization community through either policy, technological or programmatic contributions. Recipients of the award have each played a key role in the planning and design of new initiatives and have demonstrated dedication and commitment to his/her constituency as a leader and advocate for Weatherization. The Jean Diggs Weatherization Champion Award

The NASCSP Board announced this new prestigious award when recognizing Jean for her tireless accomplishments as a Weatherization Champion at our 2012 Mid-Winter Conference, shortly after her retirement. The Board decided that the Weatherization Champion Award, given only on limited special occasions, to an individual who is a true champion for the cause of Weatherization, would be renamed in honor of Jean and called the Jean Diggs Weatherization Champion Award.
