NASCSP 2026 Annual Training Conference

The NASCSP 2026 Annual Training Conference | September  21 – 25

Join colleagues from across the country as we come together to strengthen the foundation of our work and expand our collective impact.

The NASCSP 2026  Annual Training Conference is a five-day, immersive experience offering valuable opportunities for state administrators, state associations, local eligible entities, and other professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges in improved performance, innovation, and accountability in the fight to change the face of poverty across the nation. We hope you will join us as we think through some of the biggest challenges facing our network, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions that work well for everyone.

Our work is grounded in strong foundations, including program integrity, community trust, and proven strategies. This year’s theme, From Roots to Reach, reflects our commitment to building on that foundation while pushing forward and expanding what is possible for the communities we serve and the network that supports them.

Throughout the week, attendees will engage in dynamic sessions, peer learning opportunities, and important conversations focused on strengthening programs, improving outcomes, and advancing innovative approaches across the CSBG and WAP networks. Whether you are a long-time leader in the field or new to the network, the conference provides opportunities to exchange ideas, share promising practices, and collaborate on solutions that support communities nationwide.

The 2026 Annual Training Conference is separated into the following two tracks:

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) CSBG initiatives. It also highlights best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement.

The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track will provide a wealth of information, tools, and resources to enhance and improve grantee administration and implementation of the program. Session offerings will include fiscal, technical, and programmatic content.
