The NASCSP 2025 Winter Training Conference | February 3 – 7
The NASCSP 2025 Winter Training Conference is a five-day, immersive experience offering valuable opportunities for state administrators, state associations, local eligible entities, and other professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges in improved performance, innovation, and accountability in the fight to change the face of poverty across the nation.
Our theme this year is “Building Towards Together.” We hope you will join us as we think through some of the biggest challenges facing our network, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions that work well for everyone.
The 2025 Winter Training Conference is separated into the following two tracks:
The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) CSBG initiatives. It also highlights best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement.
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track will provide a wealth of information, tools, and resources to enhance and improve grantee administration and implementation of the program. Session offerings will include fiscal, technical, and programmatic content. The general session workshops will include federal and national partner updates and provide relevant training on important WAP topics. A pre-conference training focused on the implementation of the $3.5 billion dollar WAP Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) funding, will be offered in addition to the core conference and is recommended for all grantee and subgrantee WAP staff.
