2024 Winter Training Conference Overview

The NASCSP 2024 Winter Training Conference | March  11 – 15

The NASCSP 2024 Winter Training Conference is a five-day, immersive experience offering valuable opportunities for state administrators, state associations, local eligible entities, and other professionals from around the country to come together and discuss strategies for meeting new challenges in improved performance, innovation, and accountability in the fight to change the face of poverty across the nation.

Our theme this year is “Turning Possibilities to Reality.” We hope you will join us as we think through some of the biggest challenges facing our network, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions that work well for everyone.

The 2024 Winter Training Conference is separated into the following two tracks:

The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) CSBG initiatives. It also highlights best practices related to anti-poverty efforts, performance management, and performance measurement.

The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) track focuses on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) WAP initiatives and grantee management issues.

In addition to the above, NASCSP is excited to explore issues around climate change and will host a one-day climate summit where we will discuss what we are already seeing and how states have begun to address the lasting impacts. We hope you will consider joining us to learn and share more on this very important issue.
