113th Congressional Committees

Make members of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees the highest priority. Contacting both the Member?s DC office and State / district office is recommended. Key points include:

• The Continuing Resolution amount of $68 Million is not adequate to sustain a national Weatherization Assistance Program;
• The negative effect on services, jobs, and other impacts in the Member?s state or district;
• The need for them to support a budget anomaly finding for WAP; and
• The need for the program to be funded at the Senate Appropriations Committee level of $190 Million for 2014.
