The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), Division of Neighborhood Revitalization, is hiring two Project Managers (HCD Community Program Administrator I) in Lanham, Maryland. These full-time, contractual positions support statewide community development and neighborhood revitalization efforts, including administration of the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The roles involve managing grants, monitoring projects for compliance, providing technical assistance, working with local governments and nonprofit organizations, and supporting the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant professional experience, including at least one year of financing or technical assistance related to housing, neighborhood revitalization, community infrastructure, business development, or historic preservation. Preferred experience includes at least one year working with the CDBG Program and grant administration with government or nonprofit organizations. These positions offer a hybrid in-person and telework option and a salary range of $33.92–$36.59 per hour, with potential promotional growth up to $52.88 per hour.
