  • Avoid offensive comments, gestures, or other actions related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or political views.
  • Be mindful of your speech and actions, and avoid disruptive behavior during sessions and events. Engage in discussions and activities with courtesy and an open mind.
  1.   Harassment-Free Environment
  • NASCSP has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Harassment, including but not limited to verbal    abuse, intimidation, unwanted sexual attention, or any other form of conduct considered inappropriate for the workplace, is expressly prohibited and will result in your removal from the conference, without a refund. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, and social events.
  1. Workplace Conduct
  • Treat the conference venue as you would your workplace. Maintain a demeanor appropriate for a work place setting at all times and respect the rules and policies of the hotel and conference-sponsored venues.
  1. Consequences of Violations
  • Violations of the Code of Conduct will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the conference without a refund. NASCSP staff reserve the right to take any action necessary to maintain a safe and welcoming environment, including contacting your employer and/or local law enforcement if necessary.
  1. Reporting Violations
  • If you are subject to or witness any form of behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact a member of the NASCSP staff immediately. You may instead choose to file an anonymous complaint using a QR code that will be displayed onsite at each conference.
  • All reports will be taken seriously and handled with discretion and confidentiality to the extent practicable.

By attending the NASCSP conference, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct. Let’s work together to create a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for everyone!
