DOE Monitoring and the IIJA | March 12, 2024
The IIJA introduced $3.5 billion in WAP funding to the WAP network. With this historic funding comes important monitoring conditions to ensure the funds are spent properly. The U.S. Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program Manager and Project Officer Supervisors will review WAP monitoring at the federal level. Session information will include DOE’s approach to both formula and IIJA monitoring, how the Grantee Risk Assessment is completed and utilized, and the role monitoring plays in Grantees receiving the final 50% of IIJA funding.
